Wingwave® Coaching

Wingwave – a method for quick and reliable emotional and stress management

Psychologists Cora Besser-Siegmund and Harry Siegmund are the founders of the Wingwave method. After a number of years of research and practice in Hamburg, Germany, this method has been patented and protected by the Besser-Sigmund – Institut GmbH https://besser-siegmund.de

Wingwave is a scientifically proven and effective technique for strengthening, developing and activating the mental and creative abilities of mentally healthy people, erasing old beliefs and creating new ones that improve the quality of life. This method helps return emotions to balance, which is why the technique is known as “emotional coaching”. Emotional imbalance occurs due to blocked emotions, stress, programmed habits, etc.

The Wingwave method combines the following techniques:

  • EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) – bilateral stimulation of the brain hemispheres achieved by rapid hand movement, i.e. waving. EMDR guides the person to induced ‘alert’ REM phase.
  • NLP (Neuro Linguistic Programming) – communication model of action
  • O-Ring Test – kinesiological test (myostatic test) as a means to determine the cause of negative emotions

The meaning of the word Wingwave and its relation to the method

The word Wing is a metaphor for the butterfly’s wings – according to Edward Lorenz theory of chaos, the fluttering of a butterfly’s wings can cause climate change at the other end of the planet. Thus, with wingwave nerve impulses are stimulated by rapid eye movement through bilateral stimulation of the brain hemispheres, resulting in positive changes.

The word Wave is derived from the English term “brainwave” which means a great idea, great thought. After the breakdown of the negative emotions, positive programmes are implanted.

Illustratively speaking, using the myostatic test and bilateral stimulation of the brain hemispheres, change in emotions i.e. a change in the experience of emotions and behaviour occurs swiftly.

How is the Wingwave method applied

We all familiar with the saying, sleep it off and tomorrow you will wake up as good as new. If the stress was not so extreme, the brain alone will break down the emotion and the next day we feel better.

However, what happens when we face stress that lasts for a long time and the brain cannot process it. Then we feel tired, under constant pressure and our sleep is disturbed, which can lead to various ailments and diseases. Sleep is very important, especially the REM phase, because the situations and emotions that we have experienced are decomposed in this phase.

With this method, the client defines the topic he/she wants to work on. It is important to mention that the client does not have to tell the specific problem that bothers him/her, but focuses on the emotions and experiences he/she has. The myostatic test helps define the troubling emotion, and then an alert REM phase is stimulated. This way, the blocked emotions are broken down and erased while awake. During the intervention, it is possible to have revelations and a change in emotions. After the intervention, different feelings appear such as a feeling of relief, joy, happiness, etc. Sometimes the client may feel tired and relaxed, there may be intense dreaming related to the topic being worked on. The process is completed with positive programmes.
